MACBOOK PRO

MacBook Pro '13'
I guarantee you this now, 90% of people who read this will have a least one Apple product in their family. This can include anything from MacBooks, pods, Iphone and everything else that Apple have. Recently, well actually a few days back I was sucked into the Apple craze and splashed out to buying myself a new MacBook Pro. Well, I am a media student after all, so I could justify this massive spend! Apple products are by no means cheap at all. I thought it would of cost me over £2,000 but since I am a student I get a massive 15% off. I suppose what I am trying to say is whatever you do, check before you a product as you may be entitled to a student discount.

In a way this is a pointless blog post but I thought it would be fun to see life
through the eyes of a media student.

REALITY VS REALITY

How many of you reading this actually watch reality T.v series? Yep, that's right most of you do at some point in your life! Here I will try and explain about the pro's and con's of a few reality shows and see how they can affect us with normal everyday life.

Educating Essex
First up is educating Yorkshire. This is basically a copy cat version of educating Essex (which I must admit is a better program, since it is the original) Based on a years worth of documentary at Thornhill school, this is a fun insight into the world of a secondary school. I think that this documentary has a fun side to it because you actually see what life is like for teenager going through school. Have you ever wondered what your children are like when they are away from you? Well, if they are at Thornhill then I suggest you check out this program. Here's a heads up, don't think that all children while at school are perfect angels. THEY ARE NOT! You will most likely be surprise to see the truth once those school front doors are closed!

Don't tell the bride
I am in love with this program! However, I do feel sorry for the brides who don't even get a say in what their special day is like. Imagine putting all your trust into the hands of 'the one love' Some must find it scary while others must find it fun. Being a teenager watching this program it does make you think about what your fairytale wedding would be like. The reason why I love to watch this is because no matter how wrong the grooms choices are, love will always come up on top. Seeing the bride practically run up to her groom is the most amazing scene. Also, the commentary gives it an edge and crates an overall tone. The program showcases how the male species think in term of seriousness. Have you ever been to a wedding abroad, how about a festival theme in a field, or even seen a bride sky dive just before she says 'I do'. That's right no one has. So, sit back and watch the program, maybe you might get a idea into planning your unique wedding?

The valleys
The valleys, the valleys, the valleys. Three words spring to mind and sum up this reality program perfectly! Sex, drinks and nightclub. This is basically an insight into the world of what 'modern day' young adults act like. This is a tongue in cheek, not to be taken seriously kind of program. Some of the antics are over the top, which makes me think they have purposely put in for the wow factor. This reality show is all about the partying, kicking back, letting your hair down and having fun. I suggest that you don't watching this program with the parents as it can be a tad bit embarrassing!

All in all 'reality T.V' is basically reality T.V. Just enjoy watching it and don't take things to seriously.
